My life’s journey has been a tumultuous one, marked by darkness, addiction, and despair. For 15 long years, I battled with the demons of meth and fentanyl, intertwining my existence with the dangerous world of prostitution. Countless overdoses and endless dangerous situations painted a sad reality that seemed unescapable.
Then one night in January of 2024 I called out to God and begged him to save me! God’s intervention manifested in a way I never expected. The following night, as I watched, during a raid by the DTF, I realized that divine hands were at work, pulling me from the brink of destruction. Though consequences were ahead, God’s grace guided me to The Harbor Home for Women in Conway, AR, a sanctuary that became the cornerstone of my transformation.
At The Harbor Home, I discovered a newfound sense of self-worth and rediscovered the strength to embrace life’s true priorities, shunning the hollow temptations of the world. Grateful beyond measure for the lifeline that rescued me from the depths of despair, I stand before you today as a testament to redemption. I am a mother, a cherished child of God, and a living testament to the power of second chances. I have shed the shackles of the past and now march forward with unwavering determination towards a brighter future. We invite you to be a glimmer of hope in the darkest night for these women just like me that are looking and longing for the change I have experienced.
